Das Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) sucht eine engagierte Fachkraft im Bereich Bioinformatik. In dieser Position arbeiten Sie in einem dynamischen Team von sieben Bioinformatischen und unterstützen verschiedene Projekte in der biomedizinischen Forschung. Ihre Aufgaben sind vielfältig: Sie analysieren verschiedene „Omics“-Daten, insbesondere Genomik, Transkriptomik, Epigenomik und Proteomik. Dazu gehört auch die Automatisierung von Analyseprozessen. Beachten Sie, dass dies eine temporäre Anstellung als Vertretung für Elternzeit ist und aufgrund von Drittmitteln zunächst bis zum 31. August 2027 befristet ist. Teilzeitoptionen sind möglich.
Was sollten Sie mitbringen? Ein akademischer Abschluss in Bioinformatik, Biostatistik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet ist unerlässlich. Sie sollten über fundierte Kenntnisse in der Analyse von Sequenzdaten sowie in wissenschaftlichen Workflow-Systemen verfügen. Zudem sind Kenntnisse in mindestens einer Skriptsprache und ein sicherer Umgang mit Linux erforderlich. Ihre kommunikative Art und Ihre Organisationsfähigkeiten runden Ihr Profil ab.

Academic degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics or a related field of study
Solid knowledge in the field of sequence data analysis or scientific workflow systems
Proficiency in at least one scripting language
Good command of Linux
Good knowledge of English
Commitment, coordination and organizational skills, quick comprehension, independence, ability to work in a team and good communication skills
Knowledge of statistics, machine learning, containers and computer clusters is an advantage
