Die Gesellschaft der Neuen Auftraggeber – GNA gGmbH, ansässig in Berlin, sucht einen erfahrenen Program and Production Coordinator für den Bereich Tanz und Performance. Diese Teilzeitstelle (50 %) geht vom 1. Dezember 2025 bis zum 31. Dezember 2027.
Mit dem Programm "Tanz und Performance im öffentlichen Interesse" fördert die GNA innovative Kunstprojekte, die im Sinne der Bürger*innen realisiert werden. Seit September 2023 arbeitet ein engagiertes Team daran, in Kooperation mit nationalen und internationalen Partnern verschiedene Produktionen zu verwirklichen. Dabei steht Vielfalt im Mittelpunkt, sowohl in der Teamzusammensetzung als auch in der Projektentwicklung. Hierbei sind offene Kommunikation und unterschiedliche Perspektiven entscheidend.
Ihre Aufgaben umfassen die Koordination und Überwachung sämtlicher Prozesse im Bereich der Programm- und Produktionsplanung. Sie fungieren als Bindeglied zwischen der Berliner GNA-Büros und der Deutschen Bundesstiftung Kultur. Des Weiteren leiten Sie die Kommunikation mit Projektteilnehmenden, insbesondere mit Produktionsleitern und Geldgebern, und dokumentieren relevante Abläufe.
Die Anforderungen an Interessierte sind hoch: Sie sollten über langjährige Erfahrung im Tanz- und Performance-Bereich verfügen sowie Einblicke in die deutschen und internationalen Szenen haben. Ein abgeschlossenes Studium in Kunst, Theater oder verwandten Disziplinen ist von Vorteil. Dazu kommen Kenntnisse im Projektmanagement und der Zusammenarbeit mit Produktionspartnern.

The Gesellschaft der Neuen Auftraggeber – GNA gGmbH, based in Berlin, is looking for a part-time (50%) coordinator for dance and performance programs and productions from December 1, 2025, to December 31, 2027.The Gesellschaft der Neuen Auftraggeber supports, coordinates, and communicates contemporary art projects on behalf of citizens and is active in cultural policy.Since September 2023, the Gesellschaft der Neuen Auftraggeber has been implementing the Dance and Performance in the Public Interest program, funded by the German Federal Cultural Foundation, in close collaboration with a small team and in cooperation with numerous partners in Germany. New productions are being created nationwide with local and international artists.The participatory and democratic principle of this program is linked to the desire to attract a diverse team for the program office as well. Different backgrounds and experiences, as well as open and honest communication, are just as important for the individual projects as they are for project management and administration. Coordination and monitoring/supervision at the interface between all ongoing processes of program and production planning and implementation, the Berlin GNA office, and the German Federal Cultural Foundation
Competent, expert communication and coordination with project participants, in particular production managers and project sponsors, preparation and follow-up of regular meetings, and documentation of processes
Participation in the public communication of projects (in cooperation with public relations and program management)
Continuous review of formal program conditions
Technical advice within the framework of the program (processes, contracts, budgets, structural issues, collaborations)
Design, organization, and implementation of information events, training courses, and network meetings
Approval of travel expenses and travel bookings
Maintenance of cost tables and action plans
Participation in strategic planning
Support for external evaluation
ProfilWe are looking for someone with many years of professional experience in the field of dance and performance. Comprehensive knowledge of the German and international contemporary dance and performance scene is required, as well as knowledge of non-profit organizations and funding programs.
Completed university degree or equivalent qualification in art, art education, dance, theater studies, or similar fields.
In-depth knowledge of project management and working with production partners.
Extensive knowledge and practical experience in the field of dance and performance.
Confident public speaking skills and communication skills.
Enthusiasm for dance and performance projects on behalf of citizens or with participatory elements
Initiative, ability to work in a team, sociability, flexibility
Willingness to combine content-related, practical, and administrative work
Willingness to travel throughout Germany
Language skills: German and English (fluent)
